Observer Program - Policy ChangeFellow Mir 2 players,
Due to the issues that we have been facing with regards to 3rd party programs, harassment and various other issues that have proven problematic, it has been decided that the best course of action is to introduce an "Observer Program". Our goal is to clean up Mir 2 and together with the players help we feel we will be able to run a more diligent, effective and efficient environment that will make the game experience in whole a more pleasant one.
We will be updating the User Abuse policy as well, please check the updated policies that have been implemented. Together with the player feedback we have been receiving, we believe that these new changes better fit with the current state of Mir 2.
For quick reference the major change to the policy is as follows;
Violation of the User Agreement Policy (User of 3rd party programs)
1st offence: 3day ban and removal of 20 levels
2nd offence: 7day ban and removal of 40 levels
3rd offence: 30day ban and reset of level to 1
We are now accepting applications from players who feel that they will be able to provide this service. Please note that the responsibilities that "Observers" will have will require a diligent effort in providing honest and impartial information to the support staff. With this information provided, the support team will be able to more efficiently investigate malicious users and provide a safer and more enjoyable gaming atmosphere.
Users selected for the Observer Program will be given limited powers that will allow them to investigate and watch suspicious players. These powers will not be extended to their main player accounts, and no other benefits will be given.
All Observers that are selected will be expected to uphold a fair and balanced assessment of the players that are being reported. Abusing the program will result in removal from the program and action taken against the account.
